As North Americans, we love our cars! They have been one of our most reliable transportation methods for about a century.
For the average Joe, a car is a practical object that we use to get from A to B and (hopefully) back again. But whether it’s a family van or a sporty convertible, it has a practical use first and foremost. But these aren't your average Joes.
For celebrities, cars can be a collector’s item and a mode of transport. Most celebrities could afford a chauffeur, but some still choose to drive themselves around. Here are forty celebrity car nuts and their prized vehicular possessions!
David Beckham
International soccer superstar and model, David Beckham is no stranger to luxurious vehicles. Beckham’s car collection isn’t as extensive as some on the list and he still drives himself around to most events! It features a Rolls Royce Ghost, a Cadillac Escalade (presumably the family car), and a Bentley Bentayga.

Eric Bana
Eric Bana might better qualify as a “car nut” than some entrants on this list, as he has owned a 1973 Ford Falcon XB hardtop ever since he was a teenager. He even produced and directed a documentary about the car, Love the Beast.

Another celebrity that needs no introduction to the world of car enthusiasts is Jerry Seinfeld, host of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which has had illustrious guests including former President Barack Obama when Jerry drove “The Beast”. At one time, Jerry’s car collection included several Porsches.
John Cena
John Cena is a big, muscular dude. Exactly what you might expect from a WWE wrestler and 21-time champion and as expected, he enjoys cars that are just as muscular as himself! His collection includes a custom 2017 Ford GT, a 2013 Corvette and a 1971 Plymouth Road Runner.
Justin Bieber
You might not think of "the Biebs" as being a car nut, but given that the Canadian pop star seems not to know subtlety, he owns a few eccentric vehicles, like a Batman-themed Cadillac CTS-V, a Ferrari F-430 and the supercar’s supercar, a Lamborghini Aventador.
Kanye West
Ye certainly doesn’t do anything by halves, does he? That includes his illustrious car collection filled with Porsches, Ferraris, Maybachs, Aston Martins and Mercedes. He likes to ride in style.

You don’t wanna miss a thing (sorry) about Steven Tyler’s extensive car collection that includes a 1961 Lotus Super Seven, a Hennessey Venom GT Spyder and a gorgeous 1941 pickup truck from Ford, aptly named the Ford 41.
Usain Bolt
You might think that the Fastest Man on the Planet might just run everywhere, but he too needs wheels to get from A to B sometimes! His choices are a Ferrari 458 Italia or an F430 Spyder, or a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, or a Phantom Series 2. In 2012, Nissan also created the GT-R Bolt Special for him! And no, he doesn’t have a Chevy Bolt EV (yet).

Beyonce has a flair for luxury and great taste in older vehicles. Her collection includes a 1959 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II and the beautiful Ferrari 458. More modern vehicles in her garage include a Lamborghini Huracan and a Tesla Model S.
Jeremy Clarkson
Some might say that the world of automotive television wouldn’t be where it is today without Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, AKA: “Captain Slow.” Clarkson, along with Hammond and May, used to host BBC’s Top Gear and now presents a show for Netflix.
As a car enthusiast extraordinaire, Clarkson has an extensive garage and has probably more cars than almost anyone else on this list. But, some of his favourites are: Mercedes Benz 600, Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 6, a Lincoln Continental V and two Jaguar F-Types.
Richard Hammond
Alongside co-hosts Clarkson and May, Richard Hammond has had his run-in with ultra-fast vehicles after crashing and nearly dying on an episode of Top Gear in 2006.
Following his recovery, Hammond got straight back behind the wheel. He currently owns a 1929 Ford Model A, a Jaguar E-Type and a 1987 Land Rover Defender, along with a dozen other specialty vehicles.
James May
Affectionately nicknamed “Captain Slow” by his co-presenters, you’d think that James May’s car collection contains little more than a bicycle (he actually owns a Brompton folding bike).
However, the third Top Gear presenter actually owns a host of very fast cars. Including a Ferrari F430, a Ferrari 458 Italia, a 1984 Porsche 911 and a Ferrari 458 Speciale.
JR Smith
JR Smith likes big vehicles and exotic supercars, including Lamborghinis, Bugattis and others. He also owns an armored vehicle called a Gurkha F5, produced by Terradyne Armored Vehicles, it is a road-legal “tank with a license plate.”

Rapper Flo Rida loves opulence in the vehicular realm and owns a gold and chrome Bugatti Veyron (you know, for conspicuousness’ sake). He also owns a Rolls Royce Dawn and Cullinan, as well as a couple of Ferraris.

While Tom Brady may have retired from football, the former Patriots’ quarterback’s garage includes a Bugatti Veyron Super Sport ($1.7M!) and a limited edition Aston Martin TB12 (created and designed for Brady). He also has a hybrid version of the Cadillac Escalade from 2013.

Another car connoisseur like Patrick Dempsey is Tim Allen, the comedian owns five 1960s vehicles: a 1965 Jaguar E-Type, a 1968 Pontiac GTO Ram Air 2, a 1968 Chevrolet Camaro 427 and a 1966 Ferrari 330 GTC.

Comedian Jeff Dunham is an avid car collector as well! He owns the Batmobile from Batman Returns, a 1963 Amphicar, a 2012 Call of Duty Jeep Wrangler, and a gorgeous 1970 Plymouth Superbird, along with many others.

Talkshow host David Letterman always comes across as a down-to-earth man who hasn’t let his success get away from him, but he does love a good Ferrari.
Some of his Ferrari collection include: a 1968 Ferrari 330 GTS, a 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO and a 1963 Ferrari Lusso.

You might think it would be tough for Shaq to find a vehicle that he’d fit into, being 7’1 and all. That’s why most of his cars have had to be custom-made for him to fit into, with an extended front end.
This hasn’t stopped Shaq from acquiring a range of cars including a Lamborghini Gallardo, a Jeep Wrangler, and the 1963 Cadillac Eldorado from Scarface.
