Taylor Swift Has The Car Collection Of Our Wildest Dreams

Taylor Swift's Car Collection Will Leave Mud On The Tires

Taylor Swift is known for her amazing musical career, which has seen her go from being a country music artist to a pop sensation. From "Teardrops On My Guitar" to "So Long, London," Swift's musical repertoire is almost as diverse as the cars in her garage. Let's examine the exquisite car collection of one of music's most beloved singer-songwriters.

Rss Thumb - Taylor Swift Cars

2007 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab

This pink 2007 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab was Swift's first car at the age of 18. She had just signed a deal with Big Machine Records, who gave her the lifted truck with a crew cab as a gift for her birthday. Swift drove the truck for about a year before giving it away to Victory Junction Gang, a children's charity. It was sold at auction in 2008.

Although 18-year-old Taylor Swift might not have gotten much use out of her 2007 Chevy Silverado, others did! The Silverado Crew Cab won two awards: the North American Truck of the Year from panelists at the Detroit Auto Show, and Truck of the Year by MotorTrend magazine's reviewers. A 6.2L V8 engine powered the light-duty truck, which produced 403 hp.

Lexus SC430 Convertible

Along with other prominent celebrity musicians, Swift picked up a gorgeous luxury Lexus convertible in 2005, apparently inspired by the one that showed up in Mean Girls (2004). She picked the same car driven by Regina George in the movie. Swift's SC430 was all-black, mated to a 4.3L V8 engine that produced 288 hp.

Despite being a luxury convertible, T-Swift's SC430 was no slouch: it boasted a top speed of 149 mph and could reach 60 mph in just 6.2 seconds. Swift says she bought the car for "all the girls who were mean to me in middle school," and that they "idolized the Plastics". Like her music at the time, Swift's Lexus embodied a young, rebellious teenage heart.

Mercedes Maybach S650

Mercedes may be a marque that's behind some of the most iconic German cars ever, but their subsidiary, Maybach, is lesser-known except among those with the money to afford their luxurious offerings. Those like Taylor Swift, who's routinely driving around in the S650—a limousine-class sedan without the extra length.

Powered by a 6.2L V12 engine, Swift's going places quickly in this luxury S-Class Mercedes, which has an extraordinary top speed of 155 mph, producing an extraordinary 651 hp. Swift travels in comfort in the S650, thanks to the heated massaging seats, leg rests, and a heating steering wheel.

Ferrari 458 Italia

Fortunately, Taylor Swift isn't banned from owning a Ferrari, unlike some of these celebrities. She picked up a Ferrari 458 Italia in 2024, joining the elite club of Ferrari owners. The 458 Italia comes with an eight-cylinder engine that produces 570 hp and a top speed of 200 mph. Although, for this car, Swift's gone for a classic red color, rather than anything too ostentatious, like her old Silverado.

Unveiled in 2015 as the successor to the super popular F430 (one of Ferrari's best-selling cars), the 458 Italia is powered by a 4.5L engine that uses direct fuel injection: the first mid-engine Ferrari car to do so. It has a seven-speed automatic gearbox that propels you from 0 to 60 in just 3.4 seconds. In 2012, Ferrari issued a stunning recall to the US market over fears that the car's engine could suddenly seize and cause a crash. We're unsure if Swift's 458 was caught up in this recall.

Porsche 911 Turbo

Another classic supercar in Taylor Swift's collection is the Porsche 911 Turbo. Powered by a 3.8L six-cylinder engine, Swift was often seen in the car with then-boyfriend, Taylor Lautner. Producing 500 hp and with a top speed of 196 mph, the 911 Turbo was a far cry from Swift's earlier affinity for the pickup trucks of her early 'country music' days.

Voted one of the greatest cars of the 20th century, it's no wonder T-Swift picked up this masterpiece of German engineering. Although, when Porsche changed the design to a water-cooled engine (rather than an air-cooled engine) and incorporated some new designs with the release of the 996 Carrera in 1997, not everyone was pleased. People complained about the headlights that looked like fried eggs and said that it was "poor man's" 911.

Mercedes-Benz Viano

When Taylor goes on tour, she chooses the Mercedes-Benz Viano minivan as her touring vehicle. With the ability to carry up to eight passengers, the Viano is a luxurious option, first released in 2004. We're unsure of when Swift purchased the Viano, but it would have cost over $100,000. Powered by a 3.0L V6 turbocharger, Swift's Viano minivan has the acceleration to give her a quick getaway: going from 0 to 60 in just nine seconds.

The interior of Swift's Viano features highly-tinted windows, dimmable LED reading lights, and rear-seat entertainment systems. Additionally, perhaps unfortunately, Swift's Viano is reportedly bulletproof with an armored material that cost more than $1 million to install. There's even QuickClot military-grade bandages onboard.

Audi R8

This first-generation Audi R8 in all-white is a gem in Swift's collection. This two-seater mid-engine German sports car was produced from 2006 until 2024, and was powered by a 5.2L V10 engine producing 562 hp. The Swift's R8 was an all-white beauty that could get Swift from 0 to 60 in under four seconds.

The Audi R8 was built on the same platform as the Lamborghini Gallardo (the best-selling Lamborghini in the company's history) and has been used extensively in the film industry, including in the Iron Man trilogy and other movies in the Marvel universe.

Cadillac Escalade

Before boyfriend Travis Kelce picked up his Escalade, Taylor Swift was riding in a 2015 Cadillac Escalade ESV in all-white. Powered by a 6.2L V8 engine, this gigantic SUV produced 420 hp and had enough seating for eight people, at 130 inches long in a Gray Silk Metallic color. Swift's Escalade partners well with Kelce's all-black Caddy.

Despite the extra passenger room, with its floor-fold third row of seating and supreme power in its engine bay, the 2015 Escalade ESV had its fair share of problems, namely thousands of customers complaining about transmission issues. Sales figures had risen by the time T-Swift bought her 2015 ESV, with 2012 and 2013 being among the lowest sales figures since 1998 for the Escalade.

Mercedes-Benz AMG G-63

The boxy looking Mercedes Benz AMG G-63 is a car that she shares with Kelce. Known as the G-Wagon, Swift/Kelce's Mercedes is an all-black beast, featuring a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 engine that produces 577 hp. The G-63 has an impressive 0 to 60 time of 3.9 seconds, despite weighing almost 6,000 pounds. It also has a top speed of 137 mph.

The Mercedes-Benz G-63 is based on a German military vehicle designed by Mercedes in the 1970s. Swift's G-63 features all the luxury: heated massaging seats, three-zone climate control, leather upholstery, and a 12.3-inch infotainment system in the rear seating.

Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Another luxury Mercedes in Swift's collection is the S-Class, a premium four-door sedan first unveiled in 1972. After over five years of refinement, Swift's sixth-generation (2013) S-Class is the height of opulence: real leather everywhere and metal instead of plastic accents on the inside, powered by a 5.5L twin-turbocharged V8 engine.

Fortunately for Swift, she escaped the more recent Mercedes S-Class models, which left customers angry and Mercedes having to cut back production of the luxury sedan due to premature rusting issues, and suspension and brake malfunctions. Ooops.

Nissan Qashqai

Now for something slightly more reasonable from T-Swift's collection: the Nissan Qashqai. Purchased in 2022 in London, Swift bought the Nissan to jet around London unnoticed when she was dating Joe Alwyn. The 1.3L mild hybrid SUV produces 138 hp and a 0 to 60 time of 7.9 seconds. Although more practical than powerful, the Qashqai was clearly an enjoyable drive for T-Swift during her brief relationship with Alwyn.

One of the best-selling SUVs in the UK in 2022, the Qashqai boasted ample storage space while maintaining a comfortable ride. It's a shame Swift couldn't import her beloved Qashqai into the US and we don't know who got to keep the Qashqai when she split with Alwyn in 2022, after six years.

Toyota Sequoia

But fear not, Swifties—she does have a US counterpart for the Qashqai: the Toyota Sequoia. With a model year of 2014, this generation of the SUV has been customized to fit the profile of T-Swift, with armor being added to the exterior and bulletproofing of the windows. Powered by a 4.7L V8 engine, the Sequoia produced 381 hp.

Fortunately for Swift, she was about 10 years too early for the problems that the 2023-24 Toyota Sequoia experienced. A manufacturing defect resulted in faulty ball joints, which caused the cars to unexpectedly roll forward when in neutral. This led to a massive recall of 280,000 Sequoias.

Did T-Swift Destroy A Vintage AC Cobra?

In her music video for "Blank Space," Taylor Swift is depicted laying waste to a vintage AC Cobra car as part of the role she played for the video—the clingy ex-girlfriend who destroys the ex-boyfriend's car. Without realizing that it was a special effects trick, fans of Swift (and fans of AC Cobras) castigated the star online for destroying a classic, rare car to make a music video. Fortunately, no AC Cobras were harmed in the making of "Blank Space".
