Paul Walker's Car Collection Was Fast & Furious

A Tragic End To A Life Around Cars

The untimely passing of Paul Walker in 2013 shocked the movie and car worlds. A lover of all things vehicular and a long-time lead actor in the Fast And Furious (2001) film series, it's no surprise that Paul Walker's car collection at the time of his death was extensive, expensive, fast and furious. Let's go over Walker's collection.

Rss Thumb - Paul Walker Car Collection

1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon

This gorgeous 1963 Chevrolet Nova Wagon was the best-selling Chevrolet during its era, with Walker's collection including the four-door version with a huge rear trunk area. At the time, Chevrolet couldn't officially put V8 engines into any of their cars, but it's likely that Walker upgraded his engine to a V8, as many enthusiasts did.

Walker's Chevy Nova Wagon is something of a time-piece. It was a project that Walker was working on at the time of his passing. The rear seats are ripped out, and the burgundy paint job is faded. An example of what could have been for Walker.

1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon

Another wagon in his collection was this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Wagon. Only available in 1964 and 1965, Walker's love for Chevy wagons was evident in both the 1963 Nova Wagon and this 1964 Chevelle Wagon. This one contained a V8 engine that produced 200 hp and served as an under-the-radar utility vehicle for one of Hollywood's biggest stars.

1967 Chevrolet II Nova

Walker really loved the Chevrolet brand. This 1967 Chevy Nova was paired with a beautiful 5.36L V8 TurboFire engine that produced 350 hp with a 3/4-speed manual transmission. The four-door sedan was another work-in-progress for Walker, who was likely restoring the car to its former glory at the time of his passing.

Ford GT

The Ford GT was one of just a few supercars in Walker's collection, but it holds significant history for American sports car fans. An iconic Ford, this 2005 GT was recreated from the 1964 GT40, which Ford built to compete against Ferrari at the 24 Hours At Le Mans race. The 2005 Ford GT was an incredible, bright red that was one of only 14 ever built without the customary racing stripe down the middle. Selling for $498,000 at Sotheby's in 2021, it was one of Walker's most prized American supercars.

1988 BMW M3 E30

From America to Germany, Walker's collection also included a number of BMWs, including this stunning 1988 BMW M3 E30—similar to a version that hip-hop legend Jay-Z owns. Walker's 1989 BMW M3 is rocket red, which is fitting as the car won Nürburgring races five times. His 1988 M3 E30 likely had a top-of-the-line BMW M10 four-cylinder engine that produced 192 hp and a top speed of 146 mph.

1989 Nissan R32 Skyline Race Car

One of the cars initially banned from American roads, Walker had to wait for the 25-year ban to be lifted before he could import this stunning Nissan Skyline Race Car. Walker's two-door coupé in silver was fitted with racing seats and a six-speed transmission, as well as a 2.6L DOHC engine that produced a staggering 276 hp.

1991 BMW M3 E30 Coupé

Another BMW M3 E30 in Paul's collection was this coupé version. Fitted with World Rally livery and in the classic white paint job of BMW's rally cars at the time, this E30 Coupé featured a 2.3L naturally-aspirated engine that produced nearly 300 hp. The car model won multiple racing championships in Europe, although unfortunately Paul would have been 18 at the time, saving his racing chops for later years.

1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight

Walker had not one or two of these BMWs, but five of them. The next generation of the E30, the 1995 BMW M3 E36 Lightweight, was produced exclusively for the US market, with a focus on the track, rather than the road. Weighing just under 3,000 pounds, it was perfect for the speedster in Walker, who outfitted all of them with 3.0L six-cylinder engines that produced 294 hp.

In 2020, Walker's family auctioned off his collection of BMWs Lightweights at Barrett-Jackson auctions, along with most of the rest of the vehicles in this collection. The BMWs sold for $1.7 million all told, with some ranging in mileage from just the delivery miles to around 40,000 miles. Buyers would do well to sit on their investment, which will only appreciate over the years.

1995 Ford Bronco

An all-American classic in Walker's garage was this 1995 Ford Bronco. The fifth-generation Bronco was colored in British Racing Green and retained the chassis originating in 1980. Much of the original design was kept on Walker's version, with the tan rear cap—known as the Eddie Bauer trim. Under the hood, the Bronco was powered by a 4.9L 302 V8 engine that produced about 200 hp.

2006 Toyota Tundra

A more traditional car in Walker's collection was a 2006 Toyota Tundra. This extended cab version of the Tundra was fitted with a 4.7L V8 engine that produced 271 hp. Largely unmodified, Walker's Tundra was all-gray, with a Charcoal Gray exterior and a gray interior with black wheels and a soft canopy cover for the cab.

2008 Suzuki Motorcycle

Paul Walker's love of everything-powered-by-an-engine didn't just extend to four wheels. Among his collection were three motorcycles. The first was a 2008 Suzuki DR-Z400SM motorbike—the 400cc bike in white was likely used by Walker whenever he wanted to do some off-roading in the California Hills.

2005 Harley-Davidson RS Motorcycle

Another gorgeous two-wheeler among Walker's collection was a 2005 Harley-Davidson RS. This heavily-customized motorbike was taken apart by Road Dog Customs, only to be put back together to Walker's exact specifications. Mostly used for getting around on the road, the RS was all-black, except for where the chrome was replaced by nickel plating and pinstriping.

Additional modifications made were an alligator leather seat and a 1,440cc engine, replacing the original Twin Cam 88 engine. In 2020, the bike was sold at auction for $34,100.

2000 Audi S4

The 2000 Audi S4 in all-black was another special car to Paul Walker. The S4 was specifically designed by Audi for the North American market, and although originally a "narrow-body", Walker had the car converted to a wide-body version using parts only found in Europe. Fitted with rare, lightweight magnesium wheels, the car's 2.7L twin-turbo V6 engine produces 250 hp and a top speed of 207 mph. Purchasers of Walker's S4 said they'd planned modifications to bring the engine to over 500 hp

2003 Ford F250

Another American classic in Walker's collection was this 2003 Ford F250 pickup truck. Under the hood, the truck roared to life, powered by a 7.3L V8 engine that produced 240 hp. The gray, lifted 2003 truck was a step from Brian O'Conner's "daily driver" in The Fast and the Furious (2001), where he used a Ford F150 SVT with a low-rider package to get to and from work in the early parts of the film.

2004 GMC Sierra 1500

Another truck in his collection was a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500. Unfortunately for Walker's family, the value of his 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 was involved in an accident on February 8th, 2016 which caused damage to the front-end after the airbags did not deploy. A powerful 6.6L Duramax engine produced 300 hp and was four-wheel drive. The all-white truck sold for $34,000 at the Barrett-Jackson 2020 Auction.

2009 Nissan 370Z

The car at the center of Fast Five (2011) was this 2009 Nissan 370Z. Driven by Gal Gadot, the silver-colored car with a black hood and black wheels was purchased by Walker after filming wrapped up. He made several modifications, including blue wheels, a new all-silver paint job and a racing bucket seat for the driver. Under the hood? It's the same naturally-aspirated 3.7L V6 that produced 332 hp. It fetched $105,000 at auction, becoming the most expensive Nissan 370Z ever to sell at an auction.

2011 BMW F800 GS Motorcycle

Returning to Walker's motorbike collection for just a moment. Unlike his Harley, this 2011 BMW F800 GS was largely stock and finished in all-white, just like his Suzuki. Another sport-centric bike with more concern for speed than finesse, the 2011 BMW was another option for Walker if he felt the need for two-wheeled speed.

2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S Race Car

Custom-built for Paul Walker's track-day toy collection, this 2013 Ford Mustang Boss 302S was one of the last cars he owned. Decked out in all-white, the car featured a 5.0L Coyote V8 engine, Ford Racing software and computing power, a custom-made racing seat and quick-release steering wheel, and an anti-roll bar. Walker never raced it, as the vehicle was kept in storage after it was delivered to him.

Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale

Departing from his American-German centric BMW/Ford/GMC/Chevy lineup is this behemoth. A Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale, inspired by the track-focused 360 Modena, this brings its raw power to the roadway with a top speed of 186 mph. It went from 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds and could outperform another car in his collection: a Porsche.

Ferrari Testarossa

Another Ferrari in Walker's collection was the Testarossa. A classic Ferrari compared to the 360 Challenge Stradale, the Testarossa was first built in 1984 as a mid-engine two-door coupé. Powered by a 4.9L V12 engine, the Testarossa could reach a top speed of 180 mph. It was also a cultural icon of the 1980s and was frequently seen on Miami Vice (1984).

1993 Ford Mustang Cobra R

One of just 107 units produced, Paul Walker's 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra R is a rarity. A stripped-back version of the Foxbody Mustangs that Ford had become known for, the "R" in Cobra R might stand for "removed". Ford removed 450 pounds of weight from the car, taking out everything from the stereo and power windows to the rear seats. With only 500 miles on the odometer, Walker's Mustang sold for $132,000 in 2019.

Toyota Supra Mk IV

Paul Walker's Toyota Supra Mk IV is next on our list. Spectacularly colored in a fiery Orange Pearl Lamborghini paint with green racing livery, the Supra is the same car driven by Walker in The Fast And The Furious (2001). The Supra Mk IV features a Bomex front spoiler, 19-inch racing wheels, and a TRD-style hood. Underneath, you'll find a 3.0L inline-six that propels it from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds and gives it a top speed of 155 mph.

BMW 850CSi

One of only 1,510 cars produced, the BMW 850CSi in Walker's garage is a reimagining of the abandoned BMW M8 project. Its highly-modified 5.6L V12 engine spits out 376 hp. It's worth noting that this BMW was not auctioned off by Walker's family in the 2020 auction, thus remaining in their private collection.

2001 Porsche 911 996

One of three Porsches in his garage, the 2001 Porsche 911 996 was one of the finest cars ever produced by Porsche. It was the first water-cooled version of a Porsche that suffered with a lot of engine issues and caught a lot of flack from Porsche purists. Not that Walker minded—he ordered a jet black one with the Carrera trim. A 3.4L flat-six engine produced 300 hp, propelling Walker from 0 to 60 in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 177 mph.

Ferrari F355 Spider

The final Ferrari in Walker's garage was the F355 Spider. Deemed as an "entry-level" Ferrari when it was released in 1994, it featured a 3.5L V8 engine and was a "Fiorano" edition, meaning that it was one of the last 100 cars of the model line to be produced in 1998. Ferrari reportedly spent 1,800 hours working on the design of the F355. Safe to say that it paid off.

Porsche 911 930 Turbo

Another Porsche in Paul Walker's collection was the 911 930 Turbo. Painted in a gorgeous black, this older 911 model from the 1970s was the fastest mass-produced German car ever made at the time. The cutting-edge turbocharger helped cement Walker's 911 930 Turbo as a legendary Porsche car, although other road users reported issues with the timing of the turbo kicking in.

Ford Shelby Mustang Eleanor Replica

There are just three surviving Ford Shelby Mustang "Eleanor" cars from Gone In 60 Seconds (2000), designed by Chip Foose. While not one of the three surviving cars, this near-perfect replica was designed for Walker by an unknown company in the mid-2000s.

Saleen S7

Both he and Tim Allen have good tastes in cars. This American-made Saleen S7 was hand-built by Saleen Automotive. Designed as a road-going and track-racing car, Walker's version being the former, the S7 could produce an impressive 550 hp from its naturally-aspirated 7L V8 engine. Under 100 units of the S7 were produced, but Walker had one of the earliest ones.

2002 BMW Touring Alpina

This ultra-rare lime green 2002 BMW Touring Alpina featured an extended hatchback, with tuning upgrades from Alpina Tuning in Germany, new seats, and a racing steering wheel. Although we're not sure exactly how much the BMW Touring Alpina sold for at auction, a similar one went for about $45,000.

Nissan Skyline R34 GTR-V Spec

One of the most infamous cars in Walker's collection was the Nissan Skyline R34 GTR, the car that Walker and Need For Speed (2010) made famous. It sported a brilliant blue color, revised suspension, and a typical spoiler. Although none were officially sold in the United States, 14 R34s were homologated for American roads, Walker owns one of the rarest Skylines out there.

BMW M1 AHG

The BMW M1 AHG was one of the rarest BMWs ever produced, with only 460 units sold of one of the most expensive BMW cars ever to flop on the market. Walker's M1 was even more special, as it was an "AHG" model, featuring an all-white paint job with blue, light blue, and red BMW racing livery. It produced 350 hp and was undoubtedly one of Walker's favorite would-be race cars.

Porsche 911 997 GT3 RS

The Porsche 911 997 GT3 RS was another super fast Porsche in Walker's collection. Unveiled in 2006, the car features "zero-lift" aerodynamics and Porsche's track-oriented suspension. 917 cars were sold in the United States, with the car performing excellently against competition: 0 to 60 in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. It's no wonder Paul Walker loved this Porsche.

Paul Walker's Always-Evolving Car Shop

You may not have known that when Paul Walker wasn't working on a Fast & Furious movie, he was passionate about building and rebuilding exotic cars, and even had his own workshop in California: Always Evolving. Those two words were etched into the side of Walker's Porsche Carrera GT that he and Roger Rodas were driving in on the day of the car accident that claimed their lives.
